Rescuers spot parachutes of pilots of Su-25UB plane that crashed in Stavropol territory - source
STAVROPOL. Sept 3 (Interfax) - Search and rescue teams looking for the pilots from the Sukhoi Su-25UB warplane that crashed in the Stavropol territory on Tuesday have spotted their parachutes from a helicopter, a source familiar with the situation told Interfax.
"The pilots' parachutes have tentatively been discovered - they were spotted from a helicopter during a fly-over. They could have survived the crash," the source said.
The parachutes were found in the Sovetsky District of the Stavropol territory, he said.
"The pilots are likely to be in the same district," the source said.
