Modi invites Putin to India for bilateral summit in 2020 - statement
VLADIVOSTOK. Sept 4 (Interfax) - Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has invited Russian President Vladimir Putin to come to India in 2020 for a summit between the two leaders, according to a statement issued following top-level negotiations between the two leaders on Thursday.
Modi thanked Putin for the kind hospitality offered to him and his delegation in Vladivostok and invited the Russian president to visit India next year to take part in the 21st annual Russian-Indian summit, the statement said.
