FEDOR robot's scientific program completed - developer
MOSCOW. Sept 6 (Interfax) - All the tasks set for the FEDOR at the International Space Station have been accomplished, Igor Sokhin, director of space robotics at Android Technology NPO, said.
"All tasks have been accomplished. It was planned to do six sessions on board the ISS and one beyond. All the sessions were fully completed," Sokhin said in an interview broadcast by the Roscosmos television.
"The fears that it would be far more difficult or impossible to control the robot in zero gravity, in a support-free environment, were not realized," he added.
