Militants launch 31 attacks in Idlib de-escalation zone on Sept - Russian reconciliation center
MOSCOW. Sept 10 (Interfax) - Militants breached ceasefire 31 times in Syria's Idlib de-escalation zone on September 8, chief of the Russian Reconciliation Center of Opposing Sides in Syria Maj. Gen. Alexei Bakin said.
"Thirty-one attacks were recorded on September 8. Militants from illegal armed groups attacked the communities of Binyamin, Sabikya, and Makanis al-Duwairi of the Aleppo province, Kermel, Sanjeka, Ardash-Dag, Ain-al-Qantara, Sandaran, Saraf, and Safsafah of the Latakia province, as well as Kherbet Abdin, Sharki Kafer-Dun, and Niha [of the Idlib province]," Bakin said at a briefing.
The Russian reconciliation center calls on the commanders of illegal armed groups to cease armed provocations and take the path of peaceful settlement in districts under their control, he said.
