Former MP Chumak appointed chief military prosecutor of Ukraine
KYIV. Sept 11 (Interfax) - Prosecutor General of Ukraine Ruslan Riaboshapka has appointed former MP Viktor Chumak deputy prosecutor general and chief military prosecutor, the Prosecutor General's office press service said.
According to earlier reports, Riaboshapka signed an order to dismiss Anatoliy Matios from the post of deputy prosecutor general and chief military prosecutor on September 2.
Viktor Chumak graduated from Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University with a degree in law in 1995. He was a deputy of Ukraine of the 7th and 8th Rada and was a member of the parliamentary committee for corruption prevention.
