Top Russian, Japanese security officials discuss int'l security, arms control
MOSCOW. Sept 17 (Interfax) - Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev and head of Japan's National Security Council Secretariat Shigeru Kitamura held bilateral security consultations in Japan, the press service of the Russian Security Council said.
"Nikolai Patrushev and Shigeru Kitamura held Russian-Japanese security consultations, during which they discussed bilateral interaction in security," the press service said.
"In addition, the sides discussed the situation surrounding strategic stability worldwide and in the Asia-Pacific region and also arms control," it said.
