Four Ukrainian drones shot down so far this month - LPR

LUHANSK. Sept 20 (Interfax) - The air defense forces of the people's militia of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) have downed four unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Ukrainian Armed Forces since the beginning of September, people's militia spokesman Ivan Filiponenko said.

"Ukrainian forces are continuing to use UAVs actively for conducting reconnaissance and artillery fire-adjustment on the combat contact line, thus grossly violating the Minsk agreements," Filiponenko told journalists on Friday.

One drone, a Prizrak T-2, was shot down near the village of Kalinivka on September 17, he said. Material from the downed drone contained stills and footage of positions of Ukrainian mortars prepared for firing, he said.

"This is already the fourth Ukrainian UAV downed by our troops this month," Filiponenko said.
