Over 20 Russian suppliers permitted to ship sugarbeet pulp to China - Rosselkhoznadzor

MOSCOW. Sept 23 (Interfax) - Sugarbeet pulp exports by 21 Russian suppliers to China have been approved, Russian agricultural watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor said in a statement.

The list of suppliers has been published on the agency's website and on the website of China's General Administration of Customs (GACC).

A protocol was signed between Rosselkhoznadzor and the GACC in early June concerning phytosanitary requirements for sugarbeet pulp exported from Russia to China.

The list of companies includes seven Rusagro (Ros Agro ) entities, among them two plants that the company acquired from Razgulay Group in 2016 - the Kshensky Sugar Refinery and the Otradinsky Sugar Refinery. The company announced the signing of a first contract for delivery of pulp and meal to China on Monday.

The list also includes the N.I. Tkachev Agricultural Complex and other enterprises.
