Steinmeier visits Georgian-S. Ossetian border
TBILISI. Oct 8 (Interfax) - German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier has inspected the situation on the South Ossetian border during his visit to Georgia.
Together with the staff of the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) in Georgia, he inspected the border line and visited the Georgian border village of Odzisi, Georgian media reported.
The EUMM briefed him on the current situation resulting from South Ossetia's decision to close two police posts on the border.
