Zelensky wants Ukraine-Turkey relations to be better than Turkish-Russian relations

KYIV. OCT 10 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called for strengthening of relations and an increase in the commodity turnover with Turkey to a level exceeding the relations between Ankara and Moscow.

"Our relations with Turkey are currently not bad at all and our commodity turnover is very big. We just need to increase [the turnover] and become closer. We want the relations between Ukraine and Turkey to be stronger than the relations between Turkey and Russia," Zelensky told reporters during a press marathon in Kyiv on Thursday, which at that point had lasted more than 11 hours.
