Putin calls for looking for ways to settle Iran-Israel, Iran-U.S. conflicts
MOSCOW. Oct 13 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has called for looking for ways to settle disagreements between Iran and Israel and between Iran and the United States.
"There are disagreements between Iran and Israel and between Iran and the U.S. And I believe there is a need to seek to resolve these disagreements. Look for ways out of complex situations," Putin said in an interview with RT Arabic, Sky News, and Al Arabiya. A fragment of Putin's interview has been posted on RT's website.
Putin said also he believed negotiations on the nuclear problem of Iran could be held in the 5+1 format (China, France, Russia the United Kingdom, and the United States plus Germany).
"As concerns [Iran's] missile program, perhaps there is a need to talk about this as well," he said.
