Afghanistan consultations with Russia, U.S., China, Pakistan could take place next week - Kabulov

MOSCOW. Oct 15 (Interfax) - A date for Afghanistan consultations involving Russia, the United States, China, and Pakistan has not been set as of yet, Russian presidential envoy for Afghanistan and Director of the Russian Foreign Ministry's Second Asian Department Zamir Kabulov said, adding that such consultations could be held next week.

"A date has not been agreed upon so far. We are working on this with our partners," Kabulov told Interfax on Tuesday.

However, "such a meeting definitely can't take place this week," he said.

"Possibly, [it will be held] next week," Kabulov said.
