Attacks by militants continue in Syria's Aleppo, Latakia, Idlib, Hama provinces - Reconciliation Center

MOSCOW. Oct 21 (Interfax) - Fighters of illegal armed units continue to breach the ceasefire in Syria's Idlib de-escalation area, according to head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria Maj. Gen. Alexei Bakin.

"According to the updated information, 18 attacks were seen on October 19. Fighters of illegal armed units attacked Sabikiyah and Makanis al-Duwayri in the Aleppo province, Qalaz Tahtani, Chekurjak, Djandjik, Nahshebba, Kermel, and Saraf in the Lataia province, Zatuneh, al-Salihiyah, Muka, Habit, Khan Sheikhun, and Kafraya in the Idlib province, and Dar-Hardata in the Hama province," Bakin said at a press briefing on Sunday.

The Russian Center for Reconciliation calls on commanders of illegal armed units to stop armed provocations and to take the path of reconciliation in the areas under their control, he said.
