Russia, Rwanda planning to sign agreement on construction of nuclear science center - Ushakov

MOSCOW. Oct 21 (Interfax) - Russia and Rwanda are planning to sign an intergovernmental agreement on the construction of a nuclear science center, presidential aide Yury Ushakov said at a briefing in Moscow.

"A progressive trend in cooperation in terms of the peaceful use of atomic energy has been taking shape. There are plans to sign an intergovernmental agreement on the construction of a center for nuclear science and technology in Rwanda on the sidelines of the Russia-Africa summit," Ushakov said.

The summit and related economic forum will take place in Sochi on October 23-24.
