Over 1.7 mln cyberattacks on info resources of Siberian regional authorities seen in 2019 - Patrushev
OMSK. Oct 25 (Interfax) - More than 1.7 million hacker attacks on information resources of Siberian regional authorities were seen this year, according to Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev.
"This year, technical means of the state system of detection, prevention and mitigation of cyberattacks on Russia's information resources registered over 1.7 million attacks on information resources of the authorities of constituent territories of the Siberian Federal District," Patrushev said at a meeting with heads of regions of the Siberian Federal District.
In his words, the district ranks third "in terms of intensity of cyberattacks."
