Russian power consumption could grow 1% in 2019 - Energy Ministry
MOSCOW. Nov 5 (Interfax) - The Russian Energy Ministry is expecting power consumption to increase 1% in 2019, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said during a meeting with the United Russia party in the State Duma.
"This year, we are expecting around one percent," he said.
Last year, Russia consumed 1.098 trillion kilowatt-hours and generated 1.113 trillion kWh of electricity.
