Four Ukrainian troops injured in Donbas on Wed, no shell attacks recorded in disengagement sectors - JFO HQ
KYIV. Nov 6 (Interfax) - Four Ukrainian servicemen suffered fragmentation injuries in eastern Ukraine since midnight, the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) said on its Facebook page on Wednesday.
"Four servicemen of the Joint Forces have suffered fragmentation injuries since midnight," the JFO headquarters said in an evening report.
In accordance with the evening report, the adversaries have violated the ceasefire five times since midnight, shelling the Ukrainian troops' positions with 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machineguns and other small arms banned by the Minsk Agreements.
Three shell attacks on the JFO positions were recorded in the responsibility area of the Sever operational-tactical group and two in the area of the Vostok operational-tactical group.
The sectors of disengagement of forces and military hardware have not been shelled.
In disengagement area No. 2 near the village of Zolote-4 (the town of Zolote, Luhansk region), technical inspection, mine clearance efforts on roads and curbs, and in the area contaminated with explosive objects are under way. The Ukrainian side is also preparing for disengagement in sector No. 3 (the villages of Bohdanivka and Petrivske, Volnovakha district, Donetsk region); the beginning of practical measures is tentatively scheduled for November 8 on the condition of the ceasefire regime in this area for seven days.
