Putin: Deliveries of Russian S-400 systems to India going according to plan, India didn't ask us to speed anything up

BRASILIA. Nov 15 (Interfax) - The deliveries of Russian S-400 air defense missile systems to India are going according to plan, and New Delhi did not ask for this process to be sped up, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"As concerns S-400 deliveries, everything is going according to plan, and our Indian counterpart did not ask for anything to be sped up, so everything is going just fine," Putin said at a press conference on Thursday.

Russia and India are determined "to continue developing cooperation, including in areas that concern weapons based on high technology," Putin said.

India is "a sovereign state, which values its sovereignty," he said.

"Despite any pressure from the outside, India adheres to all obligations it has undertaken, just as Russia does," Putin said.
