Russia posts consolidated budget surplus of nearly 4 trln rubles in Jan-Sept 2019 - Treasury

MOSCOW. Nov 11 (Interfax) - Russia had a consolidated budget surplus of 3.993 trillion rubles in January-September 2019, the Federal Treasury said in a report posted on its website.

Consolidated budget revenues totaled 28.630 trillion rubles, with spending at 24.637 trillion rubles.

The federal budget had a surplus of 3.086 trillion rubles with revenues of 15.034 trillion rubles and expenditures of 11.948 trillion rubles. According to the Russian Finance Ministry's preliminary estimates published earlier, the federal budget surplus in January-September stood at 3.086 billion rubles, or 3.8% of GDP.

The consolidated budget surplus of constituent members of the Russian Federation was 742.5 trillion rubles in January-September with revenues of 9.490 trillion rubles and spending of 8.747 trillion rubles.

The budgets of state extra-budgetary funds had a surplus of 72.6 billion rubles with 8.206 trillion rubles of revenue and 8.133 trillion rubles of spending.
