Putin discusses BRICS summit results with Russian Security Council

MOSCOW. Nov 15 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin held a regular Kremlin meeting with the Security Council permanent members after returning to Moscow from his working trip to Brazil, presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said on Friday.

"[The attendees] discussed pressing issues concerning socio-economic development. Putin informed in detail of the results of the BRICS summit and also his bilateral contacts," Peskov said.

The meeting was attended by presidential administration chief Anton Vaino, State Duma speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, Federal Security Service Director Alexander Bortnikov, and Special Presidential Representative for Environmental Protection, Ecology and Transport Sergei Ivanov.
