Belarusian PM to take part in Eastern Partnership Investment Summit in London
MINSK. Nov 21 (Interfax) - Belarusian Prime Minister Sergei Rumas is heading to the United Kingdom for a two-day working visit.
"The head of the Belarusian government will hold meetings with member of the British royal family Prince Michael of Kent and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) President Suma Chakrabarti in London on Thursday," the press service for the Belarusian government said.
Rumas is additionally to hold talks with the management of CAD CAM Automotive. The signing of the agreement on the establishment of the assembly plant of Belarusian electric buses in the UK is expected following the talks.
He will take part in the first EBRD Eastern Partnership Investment Summit on Friday.
"Separate meetings with the management of the EBRD and the European Investment Bank are slated for the same day. Documents are to be signed as a follow-up to Belarus' cooperation with European banks," the press service said.
The program of the working visit also includes Rumas' talks with European Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn and Ukrainian Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk.
