Poll: 44% of Russians identify themselves as active YouTube users

MOSCOW. Nov 25 (Interfax) - More than half of Russians - 58% - say they use YouTube more or less regularly, the public opinion service VCIOM found after interviewing 1,600 respondents aged 18 and older across Russia on October 30, 2019.

The findings, which Interfax received on Monday, show that 25% of Russians use the video service virtually on a daily basis, 19% several times a week, 8% several times a month, and 6% at least once a year.

According to the poll's results, 30% prefer music videos and 23% humorous ones. The subjects most popular among Russians also include sports, travel, and education, including foreign language studies.

VCIOM found that 20% of Russians do not use YouTube.
