Putin touches upon situation around handover of naval ships to Kyiv in phone call with Zelensky - Kremlin

MOSCOW. Nov 26 (Interfax) - A telephone conversation took place between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at Kyiv's initiative on Monday in light of a Normandy Four summit scheduled to be held in Paris on December 9, the Kremlin press service said.

"The situation surrounding the handover of the three naval ships used by Kyiv during a provocation in the Kerch Strait area in November 2018 was touched upon," it said.

In addition, the presidents discussed the gas issue in detail, "including the continuation of transit and the resumption of direct supplies of Russian gas to Ukraine," the press service said.

"They also agreed to continue contacts at different levels," it said.
