Attending Auschwitz prisoners' release anniversary events not on Putin's schedule - Peskov
MOSCOW. Nov 27 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has no plans to attend the events commemorating the anniversary of the release of prisoners of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp in Poland, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"No, there are no such plans. It's a very big date. Putin has been there, we always remember this date, we also remember the role of the Red Army, but this event is currently not on the schedule," Peskov told reporters.
