Investments of Titanium Valley residents to reach 8.2 bln rubles by 2020 -SEZ head
YEKATERINBURG. Nov 28 (Interfax) - Investments of residents of the Titanium Valley Advanced Special Economic Zone (ASEZ) will reach 8.2 billion rubles by the end of the year, the head of the SEZ, Artemy Kyzlasov, told journalists in Yekaterinburg on Thursday.
He said the volume of planned investments will total about 28 billion rubles.
"Our plans for next year are a bit lower, the plan is about 5 billion rubles' growth," Kyzlasov said.
About 180 million rubles will be spent at the site in Verkhnyaya Salda and about 600 million at Uktus.
"We're now essentially artificially limiting the inflow of residents to Uktus, because we won't be able to fit them in the section that's been supplied with infrastructure," Kyzlasov said.
The SEZ is finishing the year with a profit for the first time. "Not a big one, but with a profit," he said, without specifying the amount.
The SEZ has 14 residents, four of which have reached the operational stage (Ural Boeing Manufacturing, Zibus, Minikat Instrument Manufacturing, and the Ural Works of Civil Aviation). Kyzlasov said that in December, the export council on entering the SEZ will consider another four potential residents.
