Lukoil ready for joint work on Russian shelf

MOSCOW. Dec 4 (Interfax) - Lukoil is ready to work with other companies on the shelf if they get permission to do so, Vice President Leonid Fedun told journalists.

"We said long ago that legislation on the shelf needs to be changed. The only company successfully developing offshore projects is Lukoil. We've developed an entire province in the Caspian," Fedun said.

"We're ready for any form [of cooperation on the shelf] if it's advantageous for our company," he said.

"It all depends on the project. In general, we're ready to work with everyone," Fedun said.
