Russian military doctors helping people in Syria's Aleppo province
ALEPPO. Dec 5 (Interfax) - Medics are returning to the northern districts of the Aleppo province in Syria, a spokesperson for a special-purpose medical unit told reporters on Thursday.
A large group of Russian specialists from this medical unit has been posted in the region, where Russian doctors are helping their Syrian colleagues treat patients, sharing experience and providing advanced medical equipment.
Russian Defense Ministry doctors provided medical care to some 250 Syrians in Kobani in the Aleppo province and another 180 in Qamishli in the Al Hasakah province in the past day. Russian doctors have already helped 108,500 Syrians.
