LPR reports Ukrainian army's return to positions in Stanytsia Luhanska disengagement area

LUHANSK. Dec 13 (Interfax) - Ukrainian army units have returned to their former positions in the Stanytsia Luhanska disengagement area in Donbas, a spokesman for the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR)'s militia told Interfax.

"The presence of servicemen of the 46th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been detected in Disengagement Area No. 1 near Stanytsia Luhanska on the positions they left earlier, which is a direct violation of Clause 8 of the Framework Decision of the Trilateral Contact Group regarding disengagement of forces and hardware, which was signed on September 20, 2016, and prohibited the sides from maintaining their presence in disengagement areas," the spokesman said.

The information has been confirmed by reports of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM), he said.
