One of 88 DPR supporters detained in Ukraine refuses to participate in prisoner exchange
DONETSK. Dec 13 (Interfax) - The Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) has confirmed the presence of 87 of its supporters in Ukrainian captivity and of one supporter who has refused to take part in prison exchange, a spokesperson for the DPR ombudsman Darya Morozova told journalists on Friday.
"According to the latest data, as of December 13 there are 240 people detained on the Ukrainian side, including 87 whose presence on Ukrainian territory has been established and confirmed. One person was removed from the list after refusing the exchange," the spokesman said.
Ukraine has yet to confirm data on 153 people for whom information is either missing or being clarified by Ukraine, he said.
It was reported that the DPR was ready to exchange 53 Ukrainians for 88 DPR supporters.
