Russian gold production up 19.5% in 8M 2019 to 232 tonnes - MinFin
MOSCOW. Dec 23 (Interfax) - Russian gold production came to 232.16 tonnes in January-August 2019, up 19.5% year-on-year, the Finance Ministry said, citing data on feedstock supplied to Russian gold refineries.
Mine production rose 10% to 178.71 tonnes, byproduct gold production grew 23% to 12.7 tonnes and secondary gold production rose 1.9-fold to 40.75 tonnes.
Silver production in Russia fell, by 9.5% to 634.84 tonnes.
