U.S. destroyer Ross again enters Odesa port

KYIV. Dec 24 (Interfax) - The U.S. Navy's guided-missile destroyer USS Ross entered the Port of Odesa on Tuesday, the press center of the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Navy said on Facebook.

"The vessel has arrived as part of steps to broaden international cooperation and bolster partnership relations between Ukraine and NATO member countries," the press center said.

The USS Ross earlier took part in the Sea Breeze 2016 international exercise, during which it visited the Odesa port for several days. The ship conducted two-week security maintenance operations in Constanta (Romania) and Varna (Bulgaria) in 2019.
