No plans for Putin-Lukashenko meeting before New Year - Peskov
MOSCOW. Dec 25 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko have no plans to meet before the New Year, but a meeting could be arranged if necessary, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said at a press briefing on Wednesday.
"There are no such plans as of yet," Peskov said.
Putin and Lukashenko agreed at their meeting in St. Petersburg on December 20 that they would have a phone call before the New Year, if necessary.
"They are free to make any decision in furtherance of their work, if necessary," Peskov said.
