Ukrainian delegation in Minsk proposes 3 more disengagement sites in Donbas
KYIV. Jan 16 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian delegation at a Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) meeting in Minsk on Thursday submitted its proposals on the withdrawal of forces and weapons at three more locations in Donbas, Darka Olifer, press secretary for Ukraine's TCG Representative Leonid Kuchma, said.
"Further to the implementation of arrangements by the leaders of the Normandy Four nations, the Ukrainian side of the security subgroup submitted its proposals on the withdrawal of forces and weapons at three more additional sites, which were determined by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces," Olifer wrote on Facebook after the meeting, without naming the locations.
To date, disengagement has been completed at Stanytsia Luhanska, Petrivsky and Zolote.
