Heads of state invited to Berlin not to give press conference following Libya talks

BERLIN. Jan 19 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin, as well as other invited heads of state, will not participate in a final press conference following an international conference on Libyan settlement in Berlin, as follows from the nameplates in the hall for press briefings.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who hosts the meeting, German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas, as well as United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and his Special Envoy for Libya Ghassan Salame are expected to speak with journalists in the wake of the conference.

A press conference will be held at the federal chancellor's office, where the international meeting on Libya takes place prior to that.
