Russian PM Mishustin presents new head of Federal Tax Service Yegorov to staff
MOSCOW. Jan 21 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin visited the Federal Tax Service on Tuesday to present its new head, Daniil Yegorov, to the staff and to thank his former coworkers for years of joint service.
"I am grateful for your effective performance and joint successes. We achieved a great deal thanks to your professional and responsible attitude. I have no doubt that you will continue to accomplish the agency's tasks commendably," a statement published on the government website quoted Mishustin as saying.
Mishustin, former head of the Federal Tax Service, appointed Yegorov in his stead on January 17.
Mishustin congratulated Yegorov on the appointment.
Yegorov, in turn, said he would continue development of "the invisible tax service," which provides convenient and easy access for taxpayers.
"Hopefully, advancement toward our goals will continue with the team's support," Yegorov said.
