Putin describes his interaction with Netanyahu as regular, close

JERUSALEM. Jan 23 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has said he has regular and close interaction with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and expects his visit to Israel to boost bilateral relations.

"The prime minister and I are interacting on a regular and very close basis, and we agreed on my visit to Israel a long time ago. I'm sure it will be good for the development of bilateral relations," Putin said at a meeting with the Israeli prime minister and his spouse.

"And, of course, all of us have an important mission today: to remember victims of the Holocaust," he said.

Putin thanked Netanyahu and his spouse for their hospitality. "Allow me to thank you, Dear Mr. Prime Minister, and your wife Sara, for the invitation and for your hospitality. Toda raba," he said.
