Ukraine places 1.25 bln euros in Eurobonds at 4.375% - Finance Ministry
KYIV. Jan 23 (Interfax) - Ukraine has placed 1.25 billion euros' worth of Eurobonds at 4.375% per annum, the Finance Ministry reported late on Wednesday.
"Ukraine announces the pricing of the new benchmark Eurobonds in euros in a principal amount of EUR 1.25 billion with a final maturity of January 27, 2030. The newly issued notes will bear interest at the rate of 4.375% per annum," the ministry said on its website.
Initial guidance was 5%; it was then lowered to 4.75% and, finally, 4.375-4.625%.
BNP Paribas, JP Morgan, and Raiffeisenbank are underwriting the placement.
