Drug lab busted in Vladimir region, over 150 kilos of precursors, mephedrone seized
VLADIMIR. Jan 28 (Interfax) - The Vladimir regional branch of the Federal Security Service (FSB) said in a statement that it has curtailed the activities of an organized criminal group which was manufacturing and selling large quantities of drugs.
Investigators discovered that criminals had set up a laboratory for making drugs in a populated locality of the Kolchugino region. About 57.8 kilos of mephedrone, more than 100 kilos of precursors, as well as equipment and chemicals with which the criminals were planning to produce more than 100 kilos of narcotic substances, were seized from the laboratory.
A criminal inquiry was launched against three members of the criminal ring on the charge of attempting to sell large quantities of drugs by a criminal group in prior conspiracy.
