Lavrov, Saudi FM discuss situation on hydrocarbons market, bilateral and regional issues

MOSCOW. Jan 30 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud have discussed bilateral issues over the phone, including the situation on the global hydrocarbons market and relevant regional issues, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Lavrov and Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud "discussed practical issues relating to further development of the multifaceted Russian-Saudi relations with an emphasis on relevant agreements reached at the top level during the state visit by Russian President Vladimir Putin to Riyadh on October 14-15, 2019," the statement said.

"The conversation also addressed issues relating to the situation on the global hydrocarbons market and a number of relevant issues relating to the current regional agenda," it said.
