Russia to take part in India's 75i submarine project - FSMTC
LUCKNOW. Feb 5 (Interfax) - Russia is interested in taking part in the Indian 75i submarine project, according to Deputy Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) Vladimir Drozhzhov.
"There is no doubt that we will participate in these tenders," Drozhzhov told the press on the sidelines of the DefExpo 2020 exhibition.
The joint work of Moscow and New Delhi in the field of naval hardware presents a perfect opportunity for implementing such projects, he said.
The submarine will have an air-independent propulsion system, Drozhzhov said.
The FSMTC tasked Rosoboronexport with organizing the joint Russian exposition at DefExpo 2020.
