Court to reconsider extension of arrest for Baring Vostok case suspects Zyuzin, Abgaryan, Vladimirov
MOSCOW. Feb 5 (Interfax) - The Moscow City Court has referred for a new hearing the investigator's motion on extending the arrest periods for Baring Vostok partner Vagan Abgaryan, investment company director Ivan Zyuzin, and former director of First Collector Bureau Maxim Vladimirov, all charged with embezzling the money of Vostochny Bank.
"The resolution of the Basmanny Court of Moscow dated January 10, 2020, which extended the periods of custody for Zyuzin, Abgaryan, and Vladimirov, has been canceled," a Moscow City Court official told Interfax on Wednesday.
The arrest cases of the suspects have been referred, along with the investigator's motion on the extension of their arrest, to the first instance court for consideration by a different judge.
The city court determined February 13 as the effective deadline for the lower court in terms of the length of time the defendants must remain in custody awaiting a court decision.
