Aeroflot to start flying to Singapore Oct 25

MOSCOW. Feb 6 (Interfax) - Aeroflot Russian Airlines will launch direct scheduled flights from Moscow to Singapore on October 25, the carrier said.

The company will have five flights per week on A350-900 long-haul airliners with three classes of seating.

"Aeroflot is opening new destinations in Asian countries to strengthen its position on one of the most important Europe-Asia transit markets. With the flights to Singapore the company expects to attract transfer passenger traffic from London, Paris, Zurich, Amsterdam, Rome, Madrid, Stockholm and other European capitals," the airline said.
