Kazakhstan, China suspend mail service due to coronavirus
ALMATY. Feb 6 (Interfax) - The mail service between China and Kazakhstan has been suspended at the former's request, Kazpost said on Thursday.
"At the initiative of the China Post administration, mail service by road, air, and rail between China and Kazakhstan has been canceled," the press service said on social media.
"Because of the cancellation of the mail exchange, Kazpost has temporarily stopped accepting all types of mail deliveries to China and to the countries which receive post via China (Bangladesh, Brunei, Bhutan, Myanmar, Cambodia, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, Laos, North Korea, Thailand, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, and Taiwan)," the statement said.
