Gazprom opening accounts with JP Morgan Russia
MOSCOW. Feb 7 (Interfax) - PJSC Gazprom , the parent company of the Gazprom Group, is opening accounts with the Russian subsidiary of JP Morgan, the Russian gas giant said.
The accounts may be either in rubles of forex.
The contract is valid from January 2020 until January 2025.
Gazprom names JP Morgan as an underwriter in the prospectus for a new Eurobond program. Others mentioned are Deutsche Bank, GPB Financial Services Hong Kong Limited and UBS Investment Bank.
PJSC Gazprom also has accounts in Russia with Gazprombank , VTB , VEB.RF, Sberbank of Russia , Bank Rossiya, UniCredit Bank, RusAg, FC Otkritie , SMP Bank and Credit Bank of Moscow, according to the company's quarterly reports.
Reports at the end of last year said it had opened an account with the Russian subsidiary of Deutsche Bank.
