Light Angara 1.2 carrying S. Korean satellite to be launched in late 2021 - Khrunichev Center general director

MOSCOW. Feb 12 (Interfax) - The light-class launch vehicle Angara 1.2 carrying a South Korean satellite will be launched into space in late 2021, Khrunichev Center General Director Alexei Varochko said.

"Regarding the South Korean launch: the production of the Angara 1.2 is now in full swing; it's now in parts and units, the vehicle will be ready by 2021," Varochko told journalists.

"Their load isn't ready, and therefore, they rescheduled the launch to late 2021," he said.

The upcoming launch will be the first commercial launch of a serial Angara 1.2.
