Ukraine to draw attention to Donbas escalation at UNSC meeting

KYIV. Feb 18 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian delegation to the UN will raise the issue of attacks on Ukrainian military positions near the dividing line in Donbas at the UN Security Council (UNSC) meeting, the delegation's press secretary Oleh Mykolenko said.

"Ukraine will bring the issue of shelling near Zolote up at the UNSC meeting due to be held today. Our delegation will be led by Deputy Foreign Minister Serhiy Kyslytsia," Mykolenko said on Facebook on Tuesday.

The UNSC is meeting in New York on Tuesday, at Russia's initiative, in order to discuss the implementation of the Minsk Agreements aimed at settling the armed conflict in Donbas.
