Last evacuee from China's Wuhan leaves health center near Tyumen
TYUMEN. Feb 20 (Interfax) - The last person of those evacuated from China's Wuhan to the Tyumen region due to the outbreak of coronavirus in the company of 143 Russians and foreigners on February 5 left the health center near Tyumen on Thursday.
"The last evacuee has left Gradostroitel today. He is now at Tyumen's Roshchino Airport and is waiting for his flight," an official with the eregional coronavirus response headquarters told Interfax on Thursday.
Disinfection will start in the health center on February 21, the official said.
Two Russian Aerospace Forces planes took 144 people to the Tyumen region of Russia from Wuhan, China, the epicenter of the outbreak of coronavirus, on February 5. All the people evacuated were quarantined for 14 days in a rehabilitation center near the settlement of Vinzili, located 30 km from Tyumen. No infected people have been found among them.
The quarantine ended on February 19. Almost all evacuees left the health center on that day.
