Georgia confirms first coronavirus case - health minister
TBILISI. Feb 26 (Interfax) - Georgia has confirmed the first case of infection with the novel coronavirus, Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze said at a briefing on Wednesday evening.
The virus was found in a Georgian citizen who arrived yesterday from Iran via Azerbaijan, Tikaradze said.
Georgia earlier suspended flights with China and evacuated its citizens who wished to leave the country.
