Builders of Vostochny Cosmodrome to get raise - Rogozin

MOSCOW. Dec 31 (Interfax) - Roscosmos plans to increase the wages of the builders of Vostochny Cosmodrome, the state corporation's CEO Dmitry Rogozin said.

"We have a presidential order now, I prepared and I discussed this matter with him, he supported me. Glavgosekspertiza, jointly with Roscosmos and the Construction Ministry, is considering the main rates to ensure that people get decent wages," Rogozin said in an interview with Rossiya 24 (VGTRK) television.

"When, for example, wages are calculated based on 14,000 rubles for builders at Vostochny, you can never build anything on that," he said.

The second stage is now being built at the cosmodrome for launching Angara missiles. The construction is expected to be completed in 2023.
