Russia, Egypt discussing construction of seed plant - Russian agriculture minister

MOSCOW. Oct 30 (Interfax) - Russia and Egypt are discussing the construction of a seed plant, Agriculture Minister Oksana Lut told journalists.

"Yesterday, we discussed with Egypt the possibility of building a seed plant for processing seeds grown in Egypt in order to meet the need for seed material, with the possibility of subsequent export to African countries," Lut said.

Russia "sees potential opportunities for investment in the African continent," she said.
